Save the Arts Centre

As many of you know the NAC closed around Covid, and has never been able to re-open.

Our community is very proud of it's Arts Centre, and we desperately don't want to see it in private hands, and stripped of it's history and tradition.

Our aim is simple:

1. Ensure the building remains a facility to be used for the good of the people of Netherton and surrounding areas.

2. Review the Arts Centre and how it is used creating a space for different styles of entertainment and activities encompassing all age brackets.

3. Open the centre during the day to serve the needs of the people by working with third parties to provide local services to local people.

The first step on this journey is to tell the local council, that it needs to remain in public ownership by signing the petition below.

Secondly, we need to start gatherthing information for regualr hirers, and potential volunteers.  The Artrix of Bromsgrove was saved by an army of ordinary people who were prepared to man the bar, show guests to their seats etc.
